Goodness! We have ourselves a showable (give it a month or two) young English Spot! The only surviving kit out of our first doe. As a new mom sometimes you need a comfortable bed. All but one of her babies did the trick and she lost custody. Lover, my brood/foster mom extraordinaire has done a great job. She is confused why this baby seems to have ADD compared to hers. Spots are incoming once we shed the baby coat.

While not a showable color I think the lilac tortoise is just gorgeous.

Added castor wheels to the cages. Can roll in and out to help clean all the poo, hay and fur the bunnies love to leave. Also adds clearance so more air can circulate to help keep everything dry and not such a fly magnet. At this point, I am so short a step stool is a must. What’s another 7cm?@

WCC 2026 done! What a super fun and fantastic show!

My two black JR bucks made their debut and did really well. They consistently placed in the top 4. Show B and C they placed BOSV and BOV!

Blues took BOB and BOSB show B under Vicki Dodridge from MT. Adam Schuller place my story JR tort buck BOV/BOSB after a gorgeous black SR doe. All the judging was great both days. Got good feedback. Convention building scouted and have some things I’ll do to help come October.

My JR Tort bucks who are in abundance, are off to new homes for youth programs. Excited to see what they can do for them. Thank you Jill Pfaff for helping me with some excellent foundation blood lines in torts.

Beth also made friends and made running rabbits to the table interesting. She took off with my cart a couple times. She also was good and put a pad down for pink bunny.

Turning mismarks and poor type into useful product. While it’s not my favorite process, I respect them and make sure they go to feed someone or thing. I am happy to say the livers looked healthy which is a relief. 17 off the feed bill.

Rabbits safely in their houses and relaxing. Bucks immediately started chin rubbing everything as though in their absence everything became less smelly. 5100 miles round trip from NDS and back to home! As you can see from the front of our rabbit van we killed many bugs.

Happy to say many of the kits have grown in my absence. Sadly, some are in that ugly phase so can’t look at them too much till they balance a bit more!

8 States in three days! Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, Oregon and (Washington tomorrow)! In Oregon and to home tomorrow. Rabbits agree we are over the road.

What an awesome NDS2026! Out of the six rabbits we had 3 place in the top 10!

RDPR Poopooratzi won 4th in Open JR Lilac Doe!
RDPR LUS626 won 6tv in Open Tortoise JR Buck! He is off to the Midwest to become a needed herd Buck! His brother stays and has earned his name of Riot.
Jill’s Wild Hendrix won 9th in Open Chocolate JR Buck!

RDPR Duncan won 16th and Jill’s Wild Break Out won 20th respectively in a deep class of Blue JR Bucks. Sadly, RDPR Aquaman squared up with his neighbor a Chinchilla SR buck and lost part of his nose in the scuffle. He got scratched because he became too stressed to show and was obsessed with seeking revenge on his attacker. His pride is hurt. I think his show career may be over, but we have been putting honey on it to help it heal. I think his ugly mug will not prevent him from making babies and will give him street credit among the does. I was only able to get a good photo of Hendrix because the top cages are high and I am not. I failed to bring a step stool.

I can’t count. Growly Pants out did herself. I swore there were 8, but she had 10?! Would have fostered out. She is an outstanding Mom and raised all of them without any deaths or runts. Genetics is great. Bred to lilac buck and 5/5 split blue and black. All of them are well marked.
