PETA PROBLEM ALERT!!!:
This article is of great concern and has potential for causing a great deal of pain and suffering to families and their animals. Please read and consider voicing your concern and opinion to your senators and congresspersons. There are several links to look through. We are appalled and disgusted at the treatment of not only this poor chihuahua, but for the family as well. That no charges are being brought against PETA by the D.A. in that area. What PETA did is a FELONY.

Thanks to storm Sandy, our sheep and goats no longer have an outside shelter for rainy days. The calf hut was actually picked up by the wind, taken over the fencing and dropped down a gully. If anyone has an old calf hut to donate, it was be greatly appreciated. For now, they are staying indoors with all this rain and flooding.

we have been hard at work trying to get funding but in today's economy, the donations are few and far between. Please think of our shelter animals when tossing old blankets in the trash. Winter is almost here and it gets cold in Central New York. Feel free to contact us here for pick up of dog foods, cat foods, today, blankets, etc. We even take chicken wire, dog and cat bowels, chicken feeders/waters, you donate it and we will re-purpose it!

We have been a bit out of touch lately - sorry for that.
We really do need to find a way to get donations of money, feed, bedding, etc, in for the animals. Winter is here and they all have need for what might otherwise be available outside. If you would like to help, please contact us here.

Our last two ferrets made it to their "forever home" safe and sound last night. They are already settling into the new environment. We will miss them tho.
