The first few weeks back at it have been amazing! I am incredibly thankful to be able to see all of my favorite dogs who make my days brighter, and have been having the best time giving them love (and cleaner hair 🛁)! That wouldn’t be possible without all of their awesome parents who I am equally as grateful for, so thank you!! 💗

If I’ve missed messaging anyone (hopefully not 🤞🏻) about the reopening, it certainly was not on purpose so please feel free to message or text me and I will get your pup in asap! ☺️

I hope everyone and their dogs have been doing well 😌. If you’re still looking for another groomer to help your pup while I am away, my friend Caitlin (who some of may recognize from grooming at her physical location) is now offering some mobile grooming services on her own!

*Please note that Caitlin does not yet offer bathing and haircut services for dogs, but she does offer full grooming services for cats! She offers nail trims and mini groom/touch up services for dogs as specified below.

Thank you so so so much to everyone who has helped make The Bubbly Puppy such a fun, happy, and safe space for both myself and your pups. I’ve genuinely had the best time getting to take care of and build a relationship with both you and your dogs. I will seriously miss every one of them!

I believe I’ve let everyone know, but if you are confused by this post so far, then I have some news! I will be closing up the salon for the foreseeable future so that my dog Stevie and I will be able to travel and hike the country while we are both physically able. Whatever happens, I’m sure it will be an extraordinary experience that I feel so lucky and grateful to be able to take on. A big part of being able to do this is thanks to your support!

It’s been amazing watching some dogs start off very nervous/fearful of the grooming process and seeing them gain the trust that they needed to feel comfortable and confident. There is nothing more rewarding, and I hope that they carry some of that confidence to their next groomer. Thank you all for your trust in me, it truly means the world!

The dogs love inspecting them - luckily, all inspections have passed so far!

A quick and easy de-shed for Blue yesterday 😊

Haha, just kidding! This process took over 4 hours, but I always want to get as much shedding hair off as possible. I won’t send any long-coated dog home without being able to easily pull a comb from the root of their hair outwards on all parts of the head and body. This is to ensure they leave with no tangles and/or undercoat hiding in there.

This is one of my favorite types of grooms to do because blowing all of that hair out and the clean looking end result is so satisfying. All of those hair tumbleweeds on the floor are only from the first part of Blue’s de-shed before his bath!

I forgot to get a side view of Blue’s completed groom, but hopefully you can tell how neat his coat looks and feels now from his time at the beach 🤩

My heart is breaking for this man who clearly loves his pup so much. Keep your eyes peeled for Lara, but remember not to call her over or try to catch her. If you see her, it’s probably best to act like you don’t while keeping an eye on her so that she doesn’t get spooked, and instead remember to call 774-641-0744 to reach her dad or you can call Auburn Animal Control.

Some pictures from the past few weeks filled with excessive amounts of dog hair, cute moments, bubbly puppies, and some heartbreak with a few sweet pups who I’ve come to love crossing the rainbow bridge 🌈. That is the toughest part of this job, but I wouldn’t trade being able to love your pups/making them comfortable for anything 💕

Valentines Day pictures have started making an appearance and I am loving it ❤️

I always show love to each dog I get to work with, but I’ll be loving on them a little extra while my girl recovers from leg surgery. It’s so hard seeing any dog not feeling their best, it reminds me even more than usual just how precious our pups are to us 💗

Give us 6 months and Stevie and I will be hiking our hearts out again ⛰️ I can’t wait to finish working through this together ☺️
