Hallelujah... I was just awarded my 3rd Star as a Parelli Professional.

The basics are everything with horses. If you rush through these—or outsource this knowledge to a trainer—you’ll miss out on the small moments with your horse that make the biggest difference.

Fall in love with the boring, the routine, the mundane encounters with your horse, and the rest of your time with them will be unrecognizable.

I loved the tour stops. They were so much fun. Plus I learned something from Pat at everyone of them. And Lori was great to travel with. The 2 of us were always up to something fun.

It’s sad day today. This is the last day of Parelli Summit in Pagosa Springs Colorado. I believe this year has been a wonderful display of all the Parelli talent and most of all Pat has been fantastic. Knowing the Parelli method is a “program” and not just a video or clinic is important to know. People that have gone thru the program has learned how to lower their energy to get more out of their horses. And the horses that have been lucky enough to have Parelli owners have learned how to listen and respond with a connection instead of reacting from fear. I believe horses are submissive and will do anything to stay out of trouble. So people that use force to train are getting results but are missing the heart and desire from a horse. Having a horse that chooses to connect, and asks what he can do for the owner, is a feeling only a few people have experienced.
Over 200,000 people have experienced the wonderful magic of Parelli at the Pagosa campus for almost 30 years. So a yearly journey to Pagosa Springs comes to an end and a new journey will begin to wonderful Ocala Florida. We are all looking forward to the future with the Parelli program.
