Position Overview:
We are hiring for Line Servers, Banquet Servers, Chefs, Cooks, Meat Carvers, Bartenders, and Event Captains to support our growing catering business. These positions will play a key role in ensuring our events run smoothly by providing top-notch service and culinary expertise.
Available Positions:
• Line Servers: Assist with setting up, serving, and maintaining the buffet or plated meal service, ensuring the quality and presentation of the food.
• Banquet Servers: Provide exceptional service to guests during events, including food and drink service, clearing tables, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Chefs: Work on-site to prepare and cook high-quality meals, ensuring proper food safety standards and excellent food presentation.
• Cooks: Assist in food prep and cooking, supporting the chefs to ensure food is cooked to perfection and ready to serve on time.
• Meat Carvers: Specialize in carving meats during events (e.g., carving stations), ensuring beautiful presentation and portion control for guests.
• Bartenders: Serve drinks and manage bar service for events, ensuring a professional and efficient experience for guests. Must have knowledge of cocktail recipes and responsible alcohol service.
• Event Captains: Oversee event operations, managing staff, ensuring timelines are met, and ensuring the event runs smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
• Line Servers & Banquet Servers:
• Set up and maintain food service stations.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and friendly manner.
• Assist with clean-up and resetting stations.
• Provide excellent customer service and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Chefs & Cooks:
• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to company standards.
• Ensure all food safety and health regulations are followed.
• Work efficiently to meet time constraints while maintaining food quality.
• Assist in food prep, plating, and presentation of meals.
• Meat Carvers:
• Carve meats at carving stations with precision and attention to detail.
• Ensure portion control and food safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized carving station throughout the event.
• Bartenders:
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Ensure a safe and professional bar service, including responsible alcohol consumption.
• Maintain a clean bar area and stock supplies as needed.
• Event Captains:
• Oversee event logistics and staff.
• Ensure smooth operations from start to finish.
• Communicate directly with clients to make sure their event runs according to plan.
Note: The list of duties is not all-inclusive, and additional responsibilities may be required based on event needs.
Compensation:
• Pay range: $12-$50 per hour, depending on position and experience.
• Tips and incentives may also be included, depending on the event.
Qualifications:
• Experience in catering, hospitality, or food service (preferred, but not required).
• For Chefs & Cooks: Culinary experience and knowledge of food safety standards.
• For Line Servers & Banquet Servers: Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused.
• For Meat Carvers: Experience with carving meats or a willingness to learn.
• For Bartenders: Experience in bartending with a focus on cocktails and responsible alcohol service.
• For Event Captains: Strong leadership skills, experience managing event staff, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
