We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services to our clients. Your role will not only involve grooming but also providing excellent customer service and building lasting relationships with pet owners.
Duties
Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards or client preferences.
Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions through proper handling and restraint techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including tools and equipment.
Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets’ needs, grooming options, and any observed health concerns.
Provide basic animal care and support, including monitoring pets for signs of distress or health issues.
Assist in educating pet owners on proper at-home grooming techniques and general pet care practices.

Qualifications
Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred; however, candidates with strong animal care backgrounds may be considered.
Skills in animal restraint and handling are essential to ensure safety during grooming sessions.
Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners.
Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific grooming requirements is highly desirable.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or equipment.
Experience as a veterinary technician or in veterinary settings is a plus but not mandatory.
Familiarity with canine and feline care or experience in pet sitting can be beneficial for this role.
Drivers License is required.

Last Friday, my oldest boy Angel made me incredibly proud by lending a hand at work and performing admirably. He carefully followed the steps I provided, and it was amazing to see his vast potential on full display.
