Ever seen the jaws on a large softshell turtle? Don’t let the pig nose and gummy lips fool you. There are very sharp, serrated jaws hiding under there that can crush things like snails and clams or hunt down fish. Typically though like any animal if left alone. You will never have to worry about them biting you because they are fairly quick to dart off to hide if encountered. Nessie makes a great model.
