When cats see the carrier, they often turn into a totally different "beast." We recommend leaving the carrier out for about 2 weeks before the day of your actual appt, so they get used to seeing it, and it will make them easier to catch!

Good morning, friends. We've heard from several of you that the ticks out in full force. Most people know that Lyme Disease is spread by tick bites, but did you know there are many other tick-borne illnesses? Please educate on what they are and the symptoms, but most importantly, if your dog is not on a flea/tick/heartworm medication, please call our office to schedule an appt to get some. Here's a refresher on why it's so important for your dog to get the vaccine(s) and to also use a flea/tick repellant. Lyme disease can be a debilitating illness in dogs and humans, alike.

Transmitted through tick bites, Lyme disease can be hard to detect and cause serious, recurring health issues. It's best to prevent it by preventing tick bites.
