A 501(c)(3) non-profit in Roswell, GA saving the lives of homeless cats & kittens in our community. Our mission is to save and improve the lives of cats.

We have cats at the Roswell PetSmart location that have been saved from living outdoors, from high kill shelters, and from families that can no longer care for them. Adoption events are held every Saturday at the Roswell PetSmart from 1pm to 5pm. Additional adoption times can be made by appointment only. Happy caturday! It’s Juta, and I will be at the Roswell PetSmart with my kittens waiting for you. I’m excited for our adoption event! The kittens are so anticipating it that they have only slept 21 hours, and they are all geared up, ready to meet their new families. Could that be you? -Juta.

Today is a special day in the lives of kitties and cat lovers all across Roswell and North Georgia as today is the anniversary of the day, 14 years ago, All About Cats was founded! Our organization’s mission is focused on rescuing cats and kittens from high-kill shelters in North Georgia, providing them with medical care, and permanent loving homes. So many lives have been profoundly changed in a great way by one quality decision, to start a rescue just for cats. Because, as we all know, it is All About the Cats!

Our volunteers came together to celebrate our 14th anniversary as we took the time to gather around a taco bar and enriched our volunteer relationships with some quality bonding. But as you may know, a pawty with our group is never complete unless there is a rescue mission involved! Two of our volunteers left mid-party to rescue some kittens on the side of the road. We are happy to report these precious babies are now flea free and living the good life in our foster program. Please be mindful if you see a free kitten sign, its never a truly welcomed sight because people with bad intentions can get them and misuse them for food or bait!

Happy 14th anniversary to All About Cats! In celebration of our anniversary and our founder’s birthday, we are running a fundraiser with a suggested minimum donation of $14 dollars to honor our years of service. Please see the fundraiser link in the comments below for additional details.

We are so thankful for our fearless leader, Kristy Grieco along with all our great volunteers, adopters, and supporters! Cat rescue takes a village and we could not do this life-saving work without continued community support! June is Adopt-a-Cat Month, and we encourage everyone to participate by adopting a shelter cat! Here are some of our shelter cats that have been with our rescue for a long time. While we want to be a safe place for cats that need care and a chance at a good life, no cat should have to spend this long in foster care! Please consider adopting our long-term resident cats, or if you are unable to adopt, please share these cats with your friends and family to help increase their exposure to potential adopters and hopefully help find their furrever home very soon!

We provide veterinary care and supplies like food/treat/litter/toys for the cats and kittens in foster care. These costs add up over time, so if you are unable to adopt, a donation is always welcome. Please consider making a donation to our fundraiser celebrating our 14 years of service (link in the comments below). Today is National Hug Your Cat Day! Studies show that having a cat lowers blood pressure and stress so hugging your cat is a double therapeutic activity! And speaking of doubles, check out this lucky human who recently adopted Brandy and William! Brandy sure is basking in a loving hug from her newfound family!

We encourage you to celebrate this important holiday by taking some time today to hug your cat but not just today but every day! Meet Tempest, a sleek, smoky grey kitten with an air of mystery and a personality all her own. With her elegant looks and quiet presence, she stands out from her torbie-and-torti siblings—and if we hadn’t seen her arrive with them, we might’ve assumed she was from a different litter entirely.

Her name, meaning “stormy little soul,” suits her perfectly. Tempest tends to keep to herself, preferring peaceful corners over wild playtimes. She watches the world with calm, curious eyes and takes her time deciding who earns her trust. She’s more independent and aloof than her playful siblings, often found perched alone, observing the chaos from a safe (and superior) distance. But when she chooses to grace you with her attention? It’s pure magic. She may be the most independent of the bunch, but Tempest would still love the familiar company of one of her siblings in her forever home.
