🎃🎃 WE'RE FULL--WHICH IS GREAT NEWS FOR YOU! 🎃🎃

We're having a special all-shelter drop-in adoption day TOMORROW, from 12-3! All adoptions of medium/large dogs, cats/kittens, and rabbits are ‼ ONLY $25 ‼ and NO APPOINTMENTS are needed to come by, meet the animals, and have a volunteer adoption counselor help you choose your new family member!

Adoption fee covers:
🎃 spay/neuter for all animals
🎃 microchips and basic deworming for all dogs & cats
🎃 DHPP, bordetella, and rabies (as age-appropriate) vaccinations for dogs, as well as heartworm testing
🎃 FVRCP and rabies (as age-appropriate) vaccinations for cats as well as combo (FeLV/FIV) testing

All for only $25‼ That means you can spend the money you would spend on vetting a "free" pet on pet toys, pet food, and Halloween treats!

📣📣4TH OF JULY BLOW-OUT ADOPTION EVENT!📣📣

Athens-Clarke County Animal Services is full, and that's GREAT NEWS FOR ADOPTERS! So many animals to choose from--there's someone for everyone ❤

🎉 Shy or outgoing cats!
🎉 Playful or couch potato dogs!
🎉 And kittens--so many kittens!

We are celebrating the 4th of July by subsidizing adoptions:
💥 cats and kittens are $25
💥 dogs are $50 (excluding any in the puppy room)

ALL ADOPTIONS INCLUDE:
- spay/neuter
- age and species-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, DHPP, FVRCP, bordetella)
- microchip

IN ADDITION: Thanks to PetSmart, we have adoption packs! Each adoption comes with a bag of food to transition your new pet from the shelter food, 3-8 months of flea preventative, a toy, a leash (dogs), and a commemorative Athenspets glass.

THE SHELTER IS FULL AND THERE ARE MORE THAN 100 ANIMALS IN FOSTER HOMES. We need YOUR HELP to find them their forever homes!

Athens-Clarke County Animal Services is an open admission municipal shelter. It accepts homeless, lost, and surrendered animals from local residents whether or not it has space, and RIGHT NOW IT DOES NOT HAVE SPACE. When there's no space and more animals come in, space needs to be made. This post and the adoption incentives above are one of our efforts to make space in a life-saving way. PLEASE HELP US HELP THEM BY SHARING, FOSTERING, ADOPTING, RESCUING!
