We have a new Champion! Pending AKC approval please meet CH Gryphon Roc’s Busy Lady. She is very appropriately named as she is always in motion. Her call name is “Nellie Claire” named after another busy lady-a close family friend of my parents in my hometown of Rock Hill named Nellie Claire Brown.

Her sire is our Patton:
GCHS CH Shiloh Morning & Teritail’s Patton at Gryphon Roc.
Her dam is our Bertie:
CH Gryphon Roc’s Captain Kid at Abbeyrose.

We will be looking to find her a pet home where she can still come back a couple of months to whelp litters with us.

Great start to 2025 for Gryphon Roc’s Patton! He won the Terrier Group today at the Clemson Kennel Club show in Pendleton, SC.

Many thanks to AKC breed judge Brian Meyer and to Terrier Group judge Debra Thornton for recognizing Patton as an exemplary Welsh Terrier.

It is just one of those great days for a Breeder. lots of good things happening at Gryphon Roc Kennels.

First, happy Third Birthday to the Bertie and Elliott litter! have a great day Owen, Murphy Boy, Murphy Girl, Levi and that sweet little Mila! All five are in loving homes!

Second, Congratulations to June Beckwith and Zack Helmer for grooming and handling our Patton to a Group 1 today at Catoctin Kennel Club in Maryland! thank you judge Valerie Brown for recognizing this impressive young dog.

Finally it is “Go home weekend “ for these Bertie and Patton pups.
we are going to miss you Robbie, Paddy, and Gertie!

Six weeks old today!
These pups are wide open!
