Summer plans are already in full swing and our calendars are filling up quickly! Just a reminder, we did close our May calendar completely and our June calendar is already full 😲🤩 It is such a great feeling to be so supported by our community like this. We will see everyone in July!!

Happy New Year! ...and what a year 2025 was!

As we kick off the new year, we want to take a moment to clarify a few questions that have come up.

Pecor’s Pups is a small, family-run dog sitting business that operates out of our home. We do not kennel dogs, and we do not own or use kennels, indoors or outdoors, for Pecor's Pups. While we do have a securely fenced area of our yard for safe outdoor time, pups staying with us are never kept in kennels.

Our mission has always been to provide each dog with a safe, loving, and comfortable “home away from home” experience. Putting dogs in kennels undermines this mission, and we truly believe in our mission. It is important to us, as dog parents ourselves, to provide your pup with a stress-free, relaxing environment.

We’re always happy to answer your questions and talk through what your dog needs to feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. If you’re looking for loving, in-home care for your pup this year, feel free to message us, we’d love to help with your dog sitting needs.

As always, we are incredibly grateful to the families who continue to trust us with their pups, share our name with others, and help our little business grow. We are also deeply thankful to our community for welcoming us and allowing us to serve you and your dogs. Your support truly means the world to us. Together, let’s make 2026 a truly wonderful year for our community and our pups!

Where else can you find dog boarding where pups are free to lounge, relax, and just be themselves?

At Pecor’s Pups, this is what a typical morning looks like. After some time outside to stretch, we come back in to rest before breakfast with calming piano music in a cozy, peaceful space. It’s all about creating an environment where dogs feel safe, loved, and truly cared for - just like home.

Hi! I’m Emily, and I’ve been a photographer for over 12 years. I absolutely love dogs and feel so lucky to combine that passion with my work. I specialize in candid photography—letting dogs be themselves and capturing their unique personalities in the moment. I truly love every dog I meet, no matter their size, energy level, or personality. Whether they’re shy, silly, or full of zoomies, I give each pup the time and attention they deserve to make sure their true essence shines through. I’m not just a photographer—I’m a friend to you and your dog, here to help you feel connected while your furry family member is away from home. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me sharing cuddles, playing fetch, or simply enjoying some quiet time with the dogs.

CONSTRUCTION UNDERWAY:
We have lots of exciting things happening this year!

Our first project to be finished is a new DOG RUN/PARK We will also have privacy fencing installed around the entirety of the back property to keep your dogs even safer!
This upgrade is set to be completed in August.

The next phase in construction is new dog-friendly facilities inside.
We hope to complete a majority of this by October! We are planning an open-house event when this is complete :)

Hi everyone! Just a quick note to share about how we keep playtime safe and enjoyable for all pups! While dogs love to interact and form friendships here, we always get the green light from ALL OWNERS before allowing any social time with a dog not from the same household.

Keep in mind that even with well-matched dogs (and dogs that are best of friends) sometimes issues can arise. It's normal dog behavior to go from playful to "hey, give me space" warnings---and sometimes, even play can be rough. We do monitor playtime and are proud to say we have never had any dogs injured from interactions with each other.

That being said, if you are ever nervous about your dog interacting with others--that is a completely valid concern! However, we do not intermingle dogs unless it's talked about beforehand!

We also separate small dogs and large dogs through the duration of any stay unless they're from the same home and owners prefer them stay together.

Thank you all for your continued trust! We love having all of our friends come visit us!

🌞 Summer’s winding down… but the fun isn’t over yet! 🐾
.but whoa! what a busy summer it’s been! From wagging tails to warm hearts and love and well wishes, we’ve been blessed beyond words. To our amazing families and supportive community: THANK YOU! Your love and support mean everything to us. 💛 We are so grateful to be part of your lives and to care for your sweet pups. We pray peace over your homes daily and that you feel the Lord’s presence wherever you go. 🙏
