We here at Misfit Farms Rescue & Sanctuary are tired. We are stressed. We are underfunded. We cannot possibly take in all the animals we are contacted about. Even with all the animals that we rescues DO take in and work our butts off to get healthy and adoptable, it just keeps getting worse.

People have GOT TO DO BETTER!!! Stop breeding your animals thinking you'll find them good homes, or that a shelter or rescue can instantly take that "oops" litter off your hands. There are too many 💩 pet owners who could care less about taking proper care of their animals. And when shelters and rescues are full, they go dump them out somewhere to starve to death, or endure God knows what.

This world is full of irresponsible, uncompassionate, evil people, and those of us who actually give a rip are left to clean up your messes and try to save these babies from a living hell.

We are not a big rescue with a lot of money nor a lot of space. We often save the hard cases, or the ones no one else wants because they will be hard to place. We do the best we can for as many as we can, but can only do so much.

We also transport, under Misfit Farms Transport, over 2,000 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens north each year to their new homes, which means being on the road for a 5 day, 4,000 mile round trip every other week. Our lives are consumed by helping these unfortunate souls. I personally have no life to speak of outside of rescue and transport.

Then there are the critics and keyboard jockeys who want to tell us what we are doing wrong, but do nothing to help our cause. Or run their mouths because they are mad or have their feelings hurt about something, which only hurts the animals.

So, if you cannot help, at least don't hinder our cause. We do what we do for the animals, not the humans. But we need the humans' help to do what we do for the animals.

And that's just how it is.
