Remember the reason.

Today isn’t about the sales, backyard parties, or the unofficial start to summer. It’s not a long weekend or time off work.

It’s about the men and women who never made it home. The ones whose family carry a folded flag instead of their loved one.

It’s a day of remembrance. While we honor and pray for every man and woman who serve and have served our country. Memorial Day is especially meant to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Take a moment this day and remember the fallen. Fly the flag, say a prayer, and remember who we are honoring today. 🇺🇸🇺🇸

2026 has been great to us so far. But 2027 is lining up to be just as great.

About 3 months ago I had a crazy idea to breed another of Lucas’s pick up horses. When a breeding opportunity presented its self on a Monday, I spoke to Lucas about it. Tuesday we had the paper work done, Wednesday Tweety was at the vet to be checked. The vet said come back Friday and she should be ready to breed. That Friday she was at the vet, I made a quick trip to Solo and back. Tweety took on her first go, and we are now around 75 days along!

This was one of those instances where it was meant to happen. Our vet couldn’t believe it all came together from agreeing to breed to being bred in 5 days. He said some people wait 5 months and still don’t have a bred horse.

We are very blessed and excited about the future. I’m very thankful for all of these opportunities and for having a husband that listens to my sometimes crazy ideas and supports them. 😜This baby is going to be one athletic little bo**er. This Catt Shines

4 1/2 years ago I was scrolling TikTok and came across a stud I couldn’t stop thinking about. Some how I talked Lucas into giving our best horse time off to be bred and have a baby.

Not only did everything go smoothly, she blew our minds by giving birth to a bay c**t. Quigley (My name ain’t Roy) has been everything we hoped for and more. At only 3 years old he takes everything in stride with his cooled laid back approach.

We are so glad we took a chance and landed such a nice gelding. Who knew scrolling TikTok late one night would turn into this. 😂
