The Georgia Senate has passed Chief’s Law, a bill introduced by State Rep. Tommy Benton, R-Jefferson, that would require antifreeze manufacturers to add a bittering agent to their products to deter animals and children from consuming the sweet but lethal chemical.

Here are some photos of Barney. He is a ~2 year old beagle/boxer? mix and weighs about 30lbs.
He is very sweet and loves to eat and play with other dogs and even cats. He is currently residing at the dog trainer's facility but needs a home. He likes women but is very fearful of men and is
insecure around loud noises and new experiences. He has learned to walk on the
leash. His ideal situation would be a woman only home with other friendly
dogs in a quiet neighborhood where he could regain his confidence. He is very
kind and wants so much to just be a warm loving dog. Please help us find Barney
a home.
