Hello, Happy Tails, family, and friends!
I would like to address the grooming portion of the business. I'm a one person operation, which means when I'm grooming and someone comes to the door, I have to stop and put the pup in a kennel and tend to the person at the door. When I'm done, I go back to my groom. This may happen once during the day or could be 10 times. Not to mention if something out of the ordinary happens to throw the day completely out whack.
This is why I can't give an accurate pick-up time.
Since I don't use restraints on my grooms...when and/if the groom gets anxious or stressed, we take breaks.
I do all my grooming outside under the patio awning. If the temperature gets too cold or is it raining sideways, I avoid grooming.
When presented with a horribly matted dog, I can not guarantee anything. I try my best to salvage as much hair length as possible.
One last thing...when paying via PayPal or Venmo, please make sure to pay as Family and Friends. If you choose to pay as a service, it deducts 3%off my total. Please know that if there's an issue, I will make it right, without taking 3% off of my total.

Hello to the current, past and future Happy Tails customers!!! I'm going to attempt to make weekly or monthly post.
I would like to keep everyone updated with what's going on at the Tails.
First of all I would like to thank my Tails customers. Without all of you there wouldn't be any Tails. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.❤️
Any, and all grooming is now standard. I've shadowed with a couple of groomers, and upgraded some equipment...I'm ready for your furries. It's still a lengthy process since I don't use restraints.
PayPal and Venmo are now standard. I will also accept cash, and checks. I'll check into incorporating credit card transactions shortly.
I had an increase from 14.00 per actual day to 17.00 per actual day per dog. This went into effect January 1, 2022. The services that I offer have increased as well.
I'm also in the process of replacing some of the kennels. In addition to a new outside 20' x 20' x 6' enclosed kennel. I will now be able to put both groups outside at the same time.
Just to update on my physical issues...I've been diagnosed with a form of narcolepsy called Idiopathic Hypersomnia. I'm taking medication which helps tremendously. I've also lost 74 pounds in case you were wondering why I looked a little different. The downside is I'm having issues with my IT bands in both legs. So when you arrive to drop off or pick up it takes me a bit to get moving...please be patient with me.
I'm still a practicing Christian and attend church services on Sunday's and Wednesday's. If you need prayer I'm more than happy to lift up prayers for you.

FYI...To the current and potential new clients of the The Tails.
Effective January 1, 2022 my daily rate will be increasing per Day per Dog.
If you made your reservation beginning in December and ending in January...I will honor my current daily rate. The new daily rate is new reservations made for January. Should you have any questions please contact me directly. Thank you for you business. God Bless 🇺🇸
