My new friend at the barn this morning. I have found some interesting friends since moving here. I have found baby ducks on 5 occasions that were not planned for. Then 1 Water Moccasin snake sleeping in the chicken nest box. It was right next to a hen. Gray had the fun job dealing with it. I am so done with summer!

Our news edition! I found this baby blue swed running around the goose and old duck side of the coop. Of course no one was claiming blue. The only one on that side is old blue swed and I didn't think she laid eggs anymore. The new blue is happy in the guest bathroom tub with a stuffed animal in the shape of a big yellow duck as a momma. You never know what you will find in the barn.

Puddle Ducks have landed in Athens, Texas. This is the new home for chicken, ducks and geese. They seem to like it.

Well our farm has sold here in Pasco. We are putting in an offer on a farm south East of Dallas on Monday. So hopefully sometime in October we will be moving. Crossing my fingers, that all goes smoothly!

I wanted to say thank you to all of you for being part of the Puddle Ducks family. We are closed and will reopen once we have settled in to our new place in Texas. We are currently looking for the perfect spot still while we wait for the farm here to sell. Thank you!
