It’s that time of year again! DOG CLASS TIME!!!
We will be offering our 7 week basic obedience class starting September 8th at 5:30pm.

We will meet for one hour, Monday evenings, for 7 weeks.
All dogs welcome, but please make sure they’ve had their updated vaccines (rabies, 7way and bordatella)

Class is $125 and it covers the whole 7 week course!

This is an excellent way to socialize your dog/puppy as well as learning all the basic commands on leash to afford a more enjoyable experience with your dog! Please shoot me a message if you’d like to be on the list, or call the kennel at 740-592-3651

We love having Smalls on the Ridge!! What a cool boy! And he’s quite a looker! 👀😘

Today Secret Agent Smalls transitioned from The Athens County Dog Shelter to Windy Ridge Kennel to continue his detective work in finding his forever home. The shelter was dampening Smalls' Smile and we can't let that happen, as Smiles is literally his nickname. Follow and Share so we can conclude this case and Smalls can Smile the biggest Smile yet...his turn to go home.❤🐾

Hello friends! Just a gentle reminder to please be courteous and drive with caution on our road/driveway up to the kennel. There is an influx of traffic this time of year, lots of puppers coming and going. Also please remember to keep your dogs on leash, and wait patiently as we get you in and out as quick as we can. Summertime is always chaotic, so we always appreciate your patience and understanding! We love your dogs!! 🤍

We conducted a major deep cleaning of the kennel this week. The purpose was to eradicate the nasty bordatella virus. Top to bottom disinfectant. We also implemented air purifiers, more fans, and a fogger to disinfect our rooms after they’re closed down! Our BARC area got some much needed love too!

Thank you so much to my staff, my mama, and a few special kennel friends who made this effort possible. Also, a very special thank you to Tayler Grueser for showing up every single day to help me tackle this thing. I could NOT do it without you!!

We want our customers to know that we love your dogs, and will do everything in our power to keep them safe, healthy and THRIVING while they’re with us. Thank you all so much for your continued support!
