If you have any poms from either myself or Rebecca Robert McCurley, feel free to post pictures of them here and let us know how they are doing. This will also be where pictures of new puppies that will be homed are put up. All puppies will be registered and have had their puppy shots before they go to their new homes. WE are located around the Athens area, but are more than willing to meet if need be. Any questions, feel free to contact me anytime :)

A few days ago one of the UGA vet students asked me to participate in her study. I gladly submitted 4 samples to her today.
If you would like to help her out, please reach out via email at [email protected].

Hi there! My name is Dr. Tori Rudolph, and I am leading a research study at the University of Georgia focused on understanding the genetic basis of Alopecia X in Pomeranians.
I am reaching out because we are working to include dogs from a variety of lines, both affected and unaffected, to better understand why some dogs develop coat loss and others do not. Through this research I'm hoping to improve our understanding of this condition ultimately benefits the breed as a whole. I am primarily interested in unaffected dogs, with no history of coat loss, and over the age of 5. All we would need is a one-time blood draw or cheek swab from any dog that qualifies, which my team from UGA can provide to you. If you would like, we can even come to you and collect the samples since you are local! I would be very grateful for your participation in this project!

Looks like this darling boy had found a place to be. He should be delivered this weekend.

On Saturday this little guy will be all alone with no travel plans made for him yet. I know he's gonna miss the friends he has had so far.
