🦉FUNDRAISING + VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The Alabama Wildlife Center (AWC) has announced that the 2025 Birmingham Nature Fest, (originally scheduled for July 10-13 at Oak Mountain State Park), has been canceled. Read on for how you can help during this critical time.👇

‼️The reason:
—A major HVAC failure that’s affecting all of AWC’s public spaces + a heavy, unexpected cost: a $30,000 replacement for the 40+ year-old HVAC system.

💵The needs:
—An urgent fundraising campaign has been launched to raise $15,000 by August 31
—This amount is half of the total cost of a new HVAC—to help restore climate control in their public spaces for wildlife, visitors + future programming.
