The time to prepare is now! Do you have enough containers for your reptiles? Do you have insulated boxes and heat packs? Is your car full of gas? If ice accumulation is as bad as predicted you will not be able to leave your home. With almost 200 geckos our plan in the event of a multi day power outage is to cup up everyone and get them into our vehicles. I know my 4runner can idle for 2 days on a full tank! Get your plan situated now and prepare for the worst but hope for the best!

DANGEROUS WINTER STORM is expected this weekend, with a crippling ice storm and heavy snow likely!

This could be the worst winter storm we’ve seen in over 5 years for some areas, with an extremely dangerous ice storm on the table from Texas to the East Coast.

Additionally, a ton of snow is likely in areas like Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Virginia, where 6-12”+ is possible.

This is one of the scarier looking winter storms I’ve ever seen.
