A very overdue wrap-up from one of the most special education days I’ve ever had.
Between jet lag and coming home to a mountain of clients, it took me a little longer than expected to sit down and share this.
But first… WE SOLD OUT.
My very first international seminar was officially a sellout, and I’m still so grateful.
Walking into a classroom in another country and seeing a room full of groomers who shared my passion for hand stripping was overwhelming in the best way. And y’all came ready with questions, which made the night even better.
A huge thank you to Mel and Cory at Melanie Newman Salon Essentials Melanie Newman Salon Essentials for being such incredible hosts, and to Jacqie and Sarah for helping with setup, grab bags, and all of the little details that made the evening run so smoothly.
I also got a full tour of the Melanie Newman facility and even watched some products being made. More on that later, because that experience deserves its own post.

And to everyone who attended, thank you for making my first international seminar one I’ll never forget.
To my few last-minute registrants still waiting on certificates, I haven’t forgotten you. I also learned that Australia uses a different standard paper size than we do in the U.S. 😂 Those will be taken care of this weekend.
