Daisy is proud to announce she is feeling great and would like to please play fetch now 😆

Poor Bandit has been having a rough week in turn. He was visibly in pain and having trouble walking on Sunday. We gave him some medication we had on hand and took him to our vet yesterday. Imaging revealed extreme arthritis along his spine and degenerative discs. Bandit used to be completely paralyzed. He had spinal surgery and rehabilitation at University of Tennessee nearly 9 years ago (can you tell we love UTCVM-University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine?!) We always knew he would likely have spinal arthritis in his older age. Now, it’s just a matter of finding the right ways to manage it for him.

“How is Daisy doing?”

Well, she’s throwing toddler tantrums about being in the cone. Barking for no reason at all (most notably: daily at 6a.m.), throwing herself against the dog bed dramatically, and suddenly refusing to go in her crate. But physically? Physically, she’s totally fine and the sutures are healing well! 🤦🏼‍♀️😄 haha oooh our poor, crazy girl. This will all be over soon 🤞🏻
