StoneyCreek Decker and Old Dominion Terriers Welcome to StoneyCreek Kennels! We are a licensed and permitted kennel on the Central Coast of California. My love for terriers came from my father.

Our goal is to help you find the right pup to match your lifestyle. He is an avid hunter and always had one or two rat terriers, fox terriers, or Jack Russell crosses running around the property. There is something special about this group of dog that is intelligent, funny, and tough, all wrapped up in a little ball of spitfire. Seven years ago he was ready to add another terrier to the farm. He a

sked me to help him find one. After researching different breeders we found the Decker Terrier lines. We were both intrigued to find a larger size terrier than we were used to. He decided to purchase two females from Lil Ranchin Rat Terriers. We drove down and picked out two. I was hooked on these incredible dogs. I was ready to add my own Decker to my family a few years ago. I wanted a go dog… put him in the truck, go hiking, go to the beach, go one a bike ride, all while being happy, yet protective of my family and me. I found Goose two years ago from BriarBey Decker and Old Dominion Terriers. When he arrived I knew he was something special. He was everything I wanted. He is driven, protective, and truly loves his people. I could not be happier with this handsome boy. We are adding three females to the pack this year; one Decker and two Old Dominion Terriers. Deckers and ODTs have an intelligence to them to where they read their people. They look into your eyes to try and see what you want from them. They aim to please. They are big, beautiful, and have a personality to match. They are happy to be hunting one minute and hanging out on the couch with the family the next.

Well… we are back to Chelsey makes plans and they aren’t working out the way I want.
Maggie and Javelina aren’t pregnant.

What does that mean…
Lots of phone calls and text messages to my families that have been waiting a year for a pup. We are all sad, but this is part of it. Thank you everyone for sticking with me.

Pig and Rue are next up as soon as she comes into cycle, which should be any time now.

Both Maggie and Javelina will be paired with Wilson when they come back into cycle later this year.

Those interested in Goose puppies… you will be looking at the later part of 2027.

People who are on my lists have priority. Depending on what happens with Pig and Rue will shape the rest of the year.

I’m going to be making some changes in 2027. The dogs determine my life and I’m missing out on time with my boys. This summer that was going to be full time with puppies has now turned into a gift with me getting to spend more time with my family.

Next year we will be downsizing, a couple girls will be spayed and life will be a lot simpler over here. One stud will be pulled from my program. This has been the hardest decision and I don’t take it lightly.
I’m not going anywhere, but I am making my family my top priority.

Hi everyone! It’s been quiet over here because I don’t have anything to report yet. We should know if Maggie is pregnant in about ten days and 15 for Javelina. I’ve been working on my garden, trying to catch gophers, and baseball is over for the boys!
We cannot wait for summer, more time with my boys, and lots of puppies for hopeful families that have been patiently waiting.
I’ll update when I know more ❤️🐾
