Angels For Sara Sanctuary Angels For Sara Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) rescue to help place senior dogs in their forever homes We are funded by donations, grants and sponsors.

We are a small non-profit group providing quality care to the senior dogs that have been left at shelters. We are made up of volunteers, sponsors, veterinarians and many other great people. We promote awareness on long term care and responsibility for the senior dogs.

Meet our newest little senior Alberto. After being rescued by a good Samaritan and taken to Multnomah County Animal Shelter, this resilient 7-year-old survivor is courageously addressing pressing medical needs, including comprehensive dental care and neuter surgery with an estimate of $1100 to $1500 depending on how many teeth are going to have to come out.
Initially struggling to find his footing, Alberto's unbreakable spirit shines brightly, thanks to our dedicated and compassionate care team, along with effective pain management.
Further evaluation suggests potential knee surgery may be a necessary step forward, with estimates of $4300 to $4800. With a surge of animals arriving, resources are scarce - will you help pave the way for Alberto's recovery and so he may have a brighter, healthier future for him and able to find his forever home.
