For a long time, “teacher” wasn’t just my job, it was part of my identity. After 14 years in public education, I walked away. It wasn’t because I stopped loving to teach. It was because the environment kept my nervous system in a constant state of stress.

Now I’m still learning and teaching… just differently.

Although I have experience, I don’t pretend to know everything about gardening, homesteading, or raising animals, and that’s the beauty of it. Every day I get to share what we’ve tried (some things that have worked, some that haven’t) and learn from my neighbors, our customers, and this community. In return, I get to create a place where others can learn these skills too 👩🏼‍🌾

I’ve realized teaching isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about staying curious, sharing what you know, and helping others grow alongside you.

✨The greatest thing I became wasn’t another job title. It was calm. Free. Present.✨

That tradeoff has been priceless ❤️
