Dr. Maggie is a mixed animal practitioner with a passion for caring for a variety of species, including cattle, horses, sheep, goats, dogs, and cats. When she's not at work, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, hunting, and fishing, as well as traveling and reading. She also loves relaxing at home with her cat, Stevie.
Dr. Maggie is excited to serve the community by providing compassionate veterinary care for both companion animals and livestock. 🐶🐮
She'll be joining our team in July and we are so excited to welcome her to the practice! 🏩

Warm weather is here for the summer! Here are a few things that can keep your companions safe and comfortable in the heat.
☀️ Keep Your Pet Hydrated
☀️ Walk in the Morning or Evening
☀️ Check the Pavement Temperature
☀️ Provide Plenty of Shade
☀️ Offer Frozen Treats
Watch for signs of heatstroke: excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, or vomiting. If you notice any of these, contact us or an emergency vet immediately.

In observance of Memorial Day, Ashland Area Veterinary Clinic will be closed on Monday, May 25th and we will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26th at 8am. 🐾

If your pet needs any medication refills or prescription food before the holiday weekend, please contact us ahead of time so we can make sure you’re all set! 🐶🐱

For this months highlighted rescue we're featuring the Wisconsin Boston Terrier Rescue ❤️

The Wisconsin Boston Terrier Rescue is 501(c)3 organization completely run on donations. All of the money they receive goes directly to the dogs.

They have a dedicated group of volunteers devoted to re-homing Boston Terriers in need in the state of Wisconsin. All dogs are fostered in private homes. Dogs receive all needed veterinary care prior to adoption.

They're mission is to not just to find families for Boston Terriers but to find the best families for our Boston Terriers. 💗

Meet our resident clinic cats: 🐱🐱🐱
Freddie (Gray and white), Alfie (Tabby), and Mari (Seal Point)
Though they may spend the majority of their day's sleeping and snuggling with each other.. They help make our days with their goofy personality's and silly characteristics. 😼
From Alfie trying to steal everyone's lunch, to Mari hiding and popping out at you in boxes and Freddie's chirping at flies they'll make you laugh for sure! 😹
