As an avid bird hunter, I not only want the end result to be a great product but I also want to preserve the memory of the hunt just the way you remember it by use of amazing environments and mounting surfaces. Not only can you choose the pose of your bird, but

Now that September is here, a few notes.

I am not taking new work this season.

September and October I will be working on upland, pheasant and turkey.

You will know Im working on your project because I will contact you to finalize pose and collect any payment balances.

You will know when your project is ready to pick up because I have contacted you to schedule a pickup date and time.

Anyone that wants a deposit retuned will get it, no questions asked. We all know that I’m behind and catching up as quickly as possible.

Happy new year! I hope everyone had a great 2022. Over the last year I’ve struggled health wise. Too much time spent at the doctors offices. This year is looking better for me, more test scheduled soon, as we narrow things down. Hopefully we can fix the issues and I can get back to 100%. That said, I’m no longer taking in birds for 2023. I am honoring everyone on the waitlist. When I get the projects down to reason turn around time and my health is better I’ll begin taking birds again. Again, I thank each and everyone of you for your patience and continued support.

It's been some time since my last post. I've been extremely busy in the shop. I wanted to let everyone know that this fall I will not be taking on new projects. My backlog, of around 2 years, is overwhelmingly full and I thank everyone for their support and patience while I continue to work. With the current workload and time spent to answer all of the questions, phone calls, and texts I've become more of a production level shop. When that happens quality suffers. This is not what my business is about and you deserve better than a rushed sloppy mount. I will continue to honor everyone that is on my waitlist, I'll reach out when space is available. I am also doing my best to keep up with all communications and will be in touch as I near your project. I understand that the long wait times aren't for everyone and I will be happy to return your unmounted birds if that needs to be the case. Thank you so much as I work to get my head above water. I appreciate each and every one of you.

I’d like to once again thank all my clients. You are the best! I’m very grateful to have each and everyone of you. As most of you know, I am behind a bit but working diligently to get projects complete. As of today my turkey quota has been filled and am no longer taking turkeys for this season. As with duck season, I will open a waitlist for those that would like to be added. I truly appreciate your ongoing support and patience.

I can’t express how grateful I am that so many have chosen to trust Tail Feathers Taxidermy with preserving your mounts and memories. Thank you all!
I opened my books earlier this year and was surprised how quickly I had to close again. I decided to open a waitlist due to the overwhelming support I received from clients wanting my work. As of now my waitlist quota is full and I cannot take on anymore work. I have left a very small quota for spring turkey. Thank you all for supporting my business. It means the world to me.

It’s that time again. I hope everyone has a good Oct split. I’d like to thank all my awesome clients for making 2021 another great year. Unfortunately, in order to maintain the quality you expect, I am closing the books for a few months. So, unless we’ve already made plans, I won’t be taking any projects until January. When the I open the books again I will take a limited amount. Im trying to catch up as fast as I can and quality can’t suffer for speed. I hope you all understand and I appreciate each and every one of you.
