While I may not have any children of my own, I have been blessed beyond measure to get to be a part of these 10 or so young ladies lives which I call “mine”…. These early teenage years are no joke, and when things get rough, they know they have each other and these wonderful school horses to fall back on, and to always be there. Every time they send me a message for school talk, relationship advice or just to vent about their days troubles it makes me smile. It makes me extra cautious and careful of how I conduct myself, how I speak and how I act knowing how closely I’m being watched, but I wouldn’t change it for the world…. They hold me to a higher standard, and I’m here for it❤️

I taught 17 lesson yesterday even with 3 cancellations and worked 3 horses…. there were milestones hit… personal record heights from two riders, awesome western jogs achieved, first canters from two, the four beat rack finally ironed out, the youngest riding with independence and so much more….. the days that I’m tired and grouchy are all made better when I see and hear the chatter of the love of their horses and the pride in their accomplishments. Y’all keep on…. You win every time you show up to practice and ride a horse you love. I’m exhausted, sore and sunburned but also a firm believer in being a trainer that shows that immersing yourself in what you love, hitting the grind every day and putting in the hustle and work can and will pay off💪

I know there are some folks out there that have always dreamed of this…. That have always wanted to jump and experience this feeling. Pictured below are three unwanted RESCUE horses that have managed to find their way through training to the Kentucky Horse Park’s competition ring…. Two of these were brought up by two of my students….these horses went from unknown to competing at the country’s most elite facility…. If you’d like to be a part of this, shoot us a message!

I have TWO wonderful options coming available for lease for this show season…. One mare, one gelding…. Both very safe and easy to get along with, both with show experience. These two will be better suited for a smaller, lite rider. One gray and one palomino. Four lessons monthly included with lease, all vet/farrier/feed expenses are covered. Just come enjoy…. Shows consist of Boyd County, Winfield, Cabell County and Ironton. If you want this to be your view this show season, hit me up before these two are snagged up🐎

Randee Conley, LPCC-S, RYT is a licensed therapist and registered yoga teacher dedicated to helping clients bridge the gap between mental health and somatic awareness. With a focus on trauma informed care and mindfulness, she integrates psychotherapy with mindful movement to support healing and resilience. Offering a compassionate and nurturing approach, Randee helps individuals reconnect with their bodies, manage stress, and foster holistic well-being.
