R Veterinary would like to extend the deepest appreciation to the Community for all of the assistance we have received to help Ghost in his time of need. We are happy to say that he has not only went home, but also that his bill has now been paid in full. Thank you to everyone who stepped up to help this awesome dog when he needed all of us! We would also like to acknowledge and thank Matt, our Zoetis Representative for all that he does in assisting animals in need and for providing a years worth of Flea, Tick and Heartworm Prevention (Simparica Trio) for Ghost and for helping with his bill.

Hello R Veterinary family!
We would like to introduce one of our new doctors Dr. Megan Claxton! She is our main doctor at the Ashland location but makes a weekly visit to Columbia as well!

Dr. Megan Claxton was born in the U.S. Virgin Islands but grew up in Tampa, FL. She received her bachelor's degree in Biology from Pittsburg State University in Kansas and graduated from the University of Missouri in May of 2021. She and her husband love to go fishing and spend a lot of their time outdoors. In her free time, she loves to read and spend time with her 5 dogs, 2 cats, cow, 2 horses, 15 goats, and her bearded dragon. Her interests include surgery, oral health and preventative medicine.

Our team is so happy to have her and I hope you all join us in welcoming Dr. Claxton!

We are proud to partner with Lake TV to donate 3-LBs of dog food to Ozarks Kat and K9 Shelter with EVERY SINGLE made free-throw made during Lake TV’s LIVE basketball broadcasts in 2023/24

During this Basketball Season our friends at R Veterinary at The Lake have committed to donating 3lbs of dog food for every made free throw. Friday night's Aurora vs. Camdenton game brought in a total of 117 pounds of dog food!

The dog food will be donated to Ozarks Kat and K9 Shelter at the end of the season.
