Job Posting:

We are a small, fun, family owned dog boarding and training facility. We are looking for someone to work our afternoon shift. The hours vary depending on the time of the year, generally 2 to 4 hours in the afternoon starting at 2:00pm, Monday - Friday. This position also includes periodic evenings and weekends (about one weekend every one to two months).

The candidate would be responsibile for the care of the dogs in our boarding kennel which includes feeding, playing with, giving medications, cleaning up after, and helping clients when they drop off and pick up their pets.

In addition to the boarding kennel responsibilities, the position includes various other duties around the ranch, such as feeding our sheep, cleaning pet rat cages, helping prepare for weekend events, vacuuming our training arena, and other duties as assigned.

This is a fun job with a lot of variety, but does include a lot of cleaning.

Congratulations to all the Happy Dig Ranch barn hunt students who competed this weekend at our trial!

Lots of dogs earned new title or got to show for the first time.

Batman was my demo dog at an Agility seminar I gave in Knoxville. He loves rolling in the arena dirt. He had such a good time!
