We want to take a moment and thank all of the volunteers who are working so hard to find and reunite lost pets. They are out day and night searching, setting up cameras and humane traps, and not giving up!! ❤️🙏🐾

From cats and dogs to chickens and fish, lives are being saved every day. We are so grateful for these boots on the ground volunteers who are dedicated to reuniting these precious animals with their families.

Please consider supporting these smaller groups who are doing so much. We haven’t included all of the folks helping, so please let us know in the comments.

Our hearts go out to all of our Los Angeles friends who continue to search for their beloved pets. We hope that our site can help with this difficult process. ❤️

We continue to hear stories of people who are overwhelmed with how to search for their missing pets.

Even with all of the amazing resources out there, it can be very confusing. There are local animal shelters and rescue groups, online databases and search tools, social media posts, spreadsheets, and more.

We realize that the resources we’ve shared in our stories quickly disappear and likely don’t reach as many people as we hope. Some folks have reached out and asked us to combine everything in one place, so we’ve created LAfiresPetHelp.com

We’ve collected all of the resources we’ve found and continue to find. This includes search tools for the Palisades and Altadena areas, as well as low-cost or free veterinary help for pets affected by the fires.
We’ll update the site daily and include any new resources we find.

Our hearts go out to all of our Los Angeles friends who continue to search for their beloved pets. We hope that our site can help with this difficult process.

🐾Today is NO DECLAW DAY.🐾

We ask that you
1️⃣ NEVER declaw your cat, even if your vet has a fancy expensive laser machine and claims it’s less painful (that’s a huge lie, btw).
2️⃣ Only give your business to vet clinics that NEVER declaw cats.
3️⃣ Please spread the word about how barbaric and inhumane declaw surgery is. The Paw Project has an amazing 1 hour film that everyone should watch.
4️⃣ Regularly trim your cat’s nails and provide appropriate scratching options.

I'm super excited to share this post! I have been working on this for a long time. I wanted to first give a shout out to my inspirations if I may. I was inspired to create this after seeing the awesome Play Infographic work of Doggie Drawings by Lili Chin and Dr. Mikel Delgado of What Your Cat Wants, but that inspiration combined with getting to know .png’s art really brought it together. This is the same artist who has created images for my Fundamentally Feline t-shirts and other swag items. She is so talented! My hope is to bring you an entire series of these on a variety of topics (in all of my spare time!)
