Hey everybody! Some pupdates I’ve received recently from this years Swiftie litter. Getting updates from all our families always puts the biggest smile on my face, knowing these babies ended up with the exact perfect families I ever could have dreamed of. You guys make it worth the time and effort, I am so grateful for you all!

Max met his whole family today for the first time, and it was a match made “in the stars” as his new mama said, he took to them immediately! He already adores his new 4 year old best friend, and instantly played together in our living room. We will miss him SO much, but not more than how excited I am for his forever home and bright future! Goodbye good boy!

Max recently had his first grooming!
Early grooming visits can be very important for getting used to being there, with all the sounds and smells that go on, it can be very overwhelming. Finding a groomer that is willing to help your puppy be used to this experience is very crucial for owning a doodle, since they require so much grooming! The first visit only needs to be a bath, blow dry and some inner ear hair trimming, and nail trimming. They won’t need to cut any puppy fur at all, so don’t worry.
Here in Asheville we’ve been using Shampoodles in Renolds Village, where takes the best care of our dogs!! 🩷🐾

Mornings with Max!
Max is my extended stayer, getting through some of the basic puppy stages (teething, potty training, and a couple basic commands.)
We started our morning being let out of the crate for a quick potty outing on leash (quick meaning we head straight for the door, attached to a leash immediately upon opening the crate), at 6:45am where I made sure to give enough time for him to go number 1 and 2. Of course he’s very excited to be awake, and plays for about 20 minutes with some drinks of water, and the playing plus water will lead to needing another quick walk. I prefer to keep the puppy on a leash this entire time, so I am watching his body language and if I see him starting to sniff or pause, I could more easily stop him and race to the front door! After these are done, I put him back in the crate with breakfast while I get myself ready. Or I can take him with me while I get ready, but leashed to me.
If Max doesn’t eat his breakfast, he has the option to while the crate it open.
While my coffee is making, we work of some commands, or play with a toy, or just work on settling while on a leash while being ignored. We take one more walk, and after all this he is ready for a nap. 9:00am is when I like to be in my office by, and here he lies while I work til I give the cue for another walk or play! (In about 1.5-2 hours, because he’s just a baby 🩷)
