It can be hard to adjust as your dog's needs change.

Days can become hard. Normal activities can become challenging. All the necessary care that's needed can become exhausting.

It's important to keep perspective. Take things one step at a time. Always continue adapting.

It's OKAY to do things differently than you've always done them.

And it's OKAY to do things differently than other people!

You do what works for you and for your dog because that's what matters.

Finding what what works for your dog and your situation is one of the biggest pieces to the puzzle. And if you need help figuring that out then that's when you call us.

I GUARANTEE YOU that your dog, at some point, has spent 5 minutes of their valuable time sniffing around on the floor for a crumb you dropped that you can't even see because it's so small.....

But it was worth it! 🤤🤤

You DO NOT need to give your dog tons of extra food and treats and calories to help them with training, IF you cut your treats!

Treats should be pea-sized. Yes, even for 100lb dogs. 🐾

Even most of the "training treats" on the market can be cut or broken in half or quarters.

You could practice 15-20 times more if you implement this NOW!

November is ADOPT A SENIOR PET MONTH!

This is near and dear to my heart because it's two things that take up big pieces of my heart. Senior pets, and adopting them.

And I'm so grateful to be helping dog parents with their seniors and special needs dogs live their best possible lives.

If you have a senior pet (adopted or not), post a picture in the comments! I can't wait to see all the old souls.🥰

I'm excited and sad at the same time. Excited to be sponsoring and hosting a table at Baypath Humane Society's Annual Paws & Claws 5K Race this Sunday! Sad because Brutus and I were set to do this together last year and unfortunately we're unable to attend because of his health declining. Bru and I were so excited to show off all the fun things he could do from his spot in his red wagon ❤️.

He'll still be there in spirit, I'm sure, and I am still excited for the event, it just won't quite be the same without him. Brutus is a Baypath Alum/my foster failure from when I worked at Baypath years ago. So Baypath holds a special place in our hearts.

You can come to run, walk, cheer, or just stroll around the vendor village! If you're a dog lover, you won't want to miss it!

🐾Every dog is a unique individual.

One of my all-time favorite reasons for doing what I do, helping people and their animals, is because of that statement.

It's the study of one.

Every dog/client pair is different. Every dog/client pair will need support and guidance that is UNIQUE to them, their life together, their challenges, their experiences, their goals. You are unlike any other person, and your dog is unlike any other dog.

🚫Anyone telling you that there is a "one-size fits all" answer would make me run for the hills. Fast!

Because that means there is no regard for YOU. And no regard for YOUR dog. No true regard for you or your dog's wellbeing - emotional, physical, or mental.

💛I love teaching people how to do this! How to "do life" with their dog in a positive, thoughtful, relationship building, mutually beneficial kind of way.

🥳This dog/client pair completed my Begin Your Bond Puppy Program and I'm so happy for them.
