My sweet Lucy… my Goosey girl.
Meeting you in 2022 was one of the greatest blessings I’ve ever received. What started as a client relationship turned into something so much deeper—you became family, in every sense of the word. From the very beginning, we connected in a way that felt so natural and so special. You were the gentlest soul, so loving, so human in the way you gave your heart so freely.
You rode with me to all my client walks, always right by my side. We spent countless hours together—memories I will hold onto forever. Every moment with you was a gift.
Life didn’t always start out easy for you, but I find comfort in knowing how deeply loved, spoiled, and cherished you were in your later years. You deserved every bit of that love and so much more.
Only 9 years… it doesn’t feel like enough. We had so much more love to give you, Goosey. We weren’t ready to say goodbye. I find comfort in knowing that you were surrounded by your favorite girls.
I will forever be grateful to your first mama for trusting us with you—for allowing us the honor of loving and caring for such a special girl.
I will miss you for the rest of my life, my sweet mama. I hope you’re up there, happy and free, chasing all the squirrels your heart desires.
