✨Ginger Snap ✨
Ginger is up for sale or lease by her owner. She’s a bit of a mystery that we are slowly piecing together while she is here with us.
She is a 15 years old (approx), 16hh, TB mare. She came from a situation where she was not well cared for and ultimately neglected then dumped on an older cow farmer that really has no idea what to do with horses. She’s been said to be out of work for somewhere around 5 years but when her current owner went to see her she was able to tack her up and hop on her to ride her around for a few minutes. She does direct rein and neck rein.
She is a bit herd bound and we are slowly working on her, getting a bit more weight on her, then we will start giving her refresher training to really get a better idea of what she knows and how she is under saddle.
She does have what looks like an old injury to her left hind fetlock but it does not seem to bother her at all.
She is a love bug and has an eager to please personality. With her unknown background she would be best suited for an advanced rider or someone that is comfortable restarting horses. I will update this post with more information as we continue to figure her out.
