Irish Oaks Ranch, owned by Tim & Katy Murphy, has been breeding performance horses for over 30 years on the beautiful Central Coast of California. She taught at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo for 19 years in the Equine Science department and brings her love of horses, teaching and knowledge to every breeding season. Irish Oaks Ranch maintains a solid herd of broodmares carrying top western performance

2020 Chestnut Gelding
Already in his new home. Thank you to all for your interest in this nice gelding. It was overwhelming to say the least.
I’m not the biggest yearling in the pen, but I’m well made, stout and athletic. I’m by Tomcat Chex (High Brow Cat) and out of a Cal Poly SLO bred mare who was a daughter of their good mare Docs Tourist (Docs Star Barred). I’m bred to be a cutter/cow horse but have the ability to go in any direction. Im easy to be around with a great personality.
