We had to share this adorable update we got about 3-month-old kitten Cinnamon (top) adopted at the beginning of May: "Here is Cinnamon enjoying some fresh laundry with her sisters Peaches (middle) and Piper (bottom). We love having her as part of our family! Thank you!"

Lox (tabby) and Caviar (tuxedo), a bonded sibling pair, came to us in 2024 incredibly shy and unsure of people. After 9 months in our Foster Program at Monroe Corrections (aka Charm School), they made remarkable progress learning to trust—and now they’ve found their forever home! 💕
Their adopter shares: “They’re doing much better now. Can’t pick them up to weigh them, but they’re friendly and loving the scritches! I can even comb them. They’re total maniacs at night, but I’m working on flipping their body clock. They’re enjoying the wildlife outside the windows and Da Bird playtime. Eating well, too!”

🚗🐾 We Need Volunteer Drivers! 🐾🚗
Do you have a flexible schedule and a heart for helping cats in need? Purrfect Pals is currently looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with transporting cats and picking up donated supplies.
We especially need help with:
📍 Weekly or bi-weekly pick-ups/drop-offs at Renton PetSmart
📍 Vet appointment transport
📍 Supply donation pick-ups from partner stores
📍 Occasional kitten transports to/from Seattle & surrounding areas
We provide a vehicle with gas included — all we need is YOU behind the wheel (not this sleepy cat)!
Driver Volunteer Requirements:
✅ Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
✅ Able to lift up to 40 lbs
✅ Friendly, dependable, and flexible
✅ Available on weekdays

We Believe That Every Cat Matters... Including Those With Special Needs
At Purrfect Pals, our highest priority is taking in the cats and kittens who need us most… those who other shelters and rescue groups might not have the resources to help. This includes older cats, cats with major medical needs, cats with chronic illnesses (including FIV and Feline Leukemia) and those with behavioral challenges.
Our cat adoption and rehabilitation programs help us place homeless cats, including those with special needs, in loving homes. We believe that every cat is adoptable; some just need more time than others to find the right match. Our ultimate goal is to place them, but these cats have a loving home in our Arlington sanctuary for as long as they need us. Our sanctuary is currently home to cats positive for FIV and Feline Leukemia, feral cats, geriatric cats and cats with chronic illnesses.
We celebrated our 30th anniversary in 2018 and this is a very exciting time for Purrfect Pals! We added capacity in July 2017 with a 4000 sq ft building at our Arlington sanctuary. The extra space houses our main customer service lobby and adoption center, administrative offices and additional capacity for cats with special needs.
Purrfect Pals cats and kittens are available for adoption at our main sanctuary in Arlington and in our four offsite adoption centers at Petsmart in Everett and Renton, Petco in Issaquah and Denny's Pet World in Kirkland. In addition to finding homes for cats and kittens, Purrfect Pals works to prevent cat homelessness with our free spay and neuter voucher program when funds are available and a community pet food bank.
