Juneteenth is the day that enslaved African Americans in Galveston found out that they have been freed. Today we honor the resilience, strength, and perseverance of the African American community. ❤️🖤💚

Juneteenth is more than a date in history. It is a celebration of freedom, a recognition of the struggles endured, and a reminder of the progress made through generations of courage and determination.

Today we reflect, learn, celebrate, and honor the countless individuals whose lives were lost, sacrifices made, and who’s contributions have helped shape our communities and our country.
