Want to learn more of the horse lingo? Or maybe you have a horse crazy kid who rides and you want to learn more to keep you both safe and help out. Or, if you just want to learn more about horses, then this class is for you.

Come out to the farm to learn what some of the different lingo is for horses, how to safely handle them. You will also get to lead the horses, brush and saddle them. Each participant will receive an information packet to take home so they can reference it when needed.

When: Saturday, May 16 from 10am-12pm
Where: Soulstice Stables

When I first got Raven, it took 6 months of patience and trust before she allowed connection.

Yesterday, she stood quietly while kids brushed her in the pasture 🤍

This is what we focus on here — not just riding, but building confidence, understanding, and real relationships with horses.

It’s especially powerful for kids who are new, nervous, or just need a different kind of connection.

Finally! A horse class for parents and adults wanting to learn more about horses. If you have a child who rides and/or leases or just want to learn more about horses, this class is for you.

You will learn basic horse terminology, horse safety, grooming and tacking and leading the horse. This is a hands on class packed full of information.

There's a few spaces left in the May class still.

When: Saturday, May 16 from 10am-12pm

It's a beautiful day for spring training! I'm getting Raven reaccustomed to the saddle and even put a bridle on her today. She did so well. It's so amazing to watch her transformation over the few years I've had her.

Yesterday's homeschool class learned all about tack and riding disciplines. They learned the difference between English and Western disciplines and the different types of saddles and sports within each discipline.

They got to jump over a horse jump and learn about how to count strides.
