BengalsbyJules Smalls is enjoying his Christmas with his family! Look at the beautiful decorations!! His home is magazine worthy and he clearly is one spoiled boy! We love this for him and his family, Merry Christmas!!!!

First, let me say we are safe. Everyone is warm and comfy and well cared for. We are equipped to handle this. If anyone has met our Ryan, you know our emergency readiness is top knotch and we are prepared extemely well.

If anyone has tried to call, I apologize if our phones went to voicemail. Between the 60+ mile per hour winds, earthquake causing mudslides which took out full roads and telephone lines and thus our power and internet, to the flooding and now new downpour rainfall which is causing more exreme flooding and levees to fail, mother nature is handing the PNW a very challenging time.

Our phones are now working. Text remains the best way to get ahold of us at the moment, and we continue our rounds to make sure everyone, including our horses, ducks and dogs are all happy and comfy as well. Please understand contact may be up and down while nature changes, and our first priority is to ensure everyone is safe and well cared for. We are good and appreciate your kindness as we work through this interesting time.

Many people ask how we know a great kitten when we see one, and how kittens or cats are judged based on at shows. Each show we attend is held by a club that are members of a cat association (CFA, TICA, LCWW, etc). The association has an approved standard for each breed. These standards are the ‘fine print’ for what the judges are looking for. Each asociation has their own approved standard, and while they may be similar, they are rarely ever the same.

When a cat or kitten is judged, the judge is mentally referring back to these standards.

Please pray for the families most affected by the horrific flooding in our area. We are completely fine, being on a high elevation for our area, and all our babies are safe and snuggly. Our heart breaks for the families who are going through unimaginable situations.

How do we get to cat shows? Just the magic purple bus! Everyone has their own cabin! They have beds, litter, food and water!!! 12 hours travelling, no problem!!!
