Founded in 1989, by Don and Dee Ross, along with a group of like-minded citizens of Clark County, organized the Humane Society of Clark County. Each of our loving animals is in search of their forever home. Our goal is to help as many animals as we can. Your continued support allows us to care for the homeless animals in our area. A big thanks to Emma for working with Sweetie on social skills. She visits often to let Sweetie experience the world outside the shelter! Sweetie is not fond of a leash and a little skittish but Emma is changing that a little bit at a time.
Ten more volunteers like Emma, with an hour or two twice a week to help socialize a dog, would make an amazing change in this shelter. To learn more about this opportunity, call 870-245-2579 (please leave message) or come by the shelter (Noon to 4, Tuesday to Friday) and see Les Kent.
In just a few hours a week, YOU can make life real again for one of our dogs or puppies.

Bye Bye Arkansas…..Hello Connecticut!!
Millie Grace left early this morning homeward bound to her awaiting adopter😍 She has been at the shelter for 3 years, coming in as a small puppy. We will miss you sweet girl but soooo happy you are finally getting your forever home 🥹❤️😘. Thank you Janie Allen for seeing her off!! Millie Grace has a precious sister, Nellie Kate that looks almost identical and is still with us. Her search for a new home continues so please consider visiting with her, you might just fall in love 🥰
