From her first coues deer.... to her 2nd. From her 1st lion to her 3rd...... It has been quite the 14 months for Samantha the Huntress. Sadly she might be done lion hunting with Layne and I but her goal was a Pope and Young Tom this year with her Bow and I’m pretty sure we surpassed that this go round!

We had an awesome Memorial Day weekend out with the dogs. A huge congrats to Jeremy with his first lion. Its bittersweet with the season closing in just a few days, these dogs are rocking an we cant wait for the fall!

My dad always told me I’d always be second best because every Joe Schmo you meet on the road is gonna be better than you, or have better dogs than you.

Those words are the most valuable i believe Ive ever heard. We do pretty good thanks to that philosophy.

We had the opportunity to get and be in the turkey woods this mornin. And boy are we glad we were, we got to be apart of this young man taking not only his first turkey but his first big game animal! Congrats Holden
