Wobbles is a tiny whirlwind who came to us from a county shelter with neurological issues (likely from an injury) and ringworm.

She needs round-the-clock care: daily medications, physical therapy to help her gain stability, and constant cleaning so she doesn’t reinfect herself.

A huge shoutout to Tyler Baynard for coming to our rescue last week and tackling the jungle that had taken over around our kitten nursery after all the recent rain! Thanks to his hard work, our space is looking tidy and welcoming again for the tiniest residents and our human visitors.

Tyler travels up to an hour from Hendersonville and does fantastic work—if you're in need of mowing or w**d whacking, shoot him a private message and show some love to a kindhearted helper who supports our mission!

We are absolutely shattered to have to share this with you all, but poor sweet Soba's x-rays showed that she had a massively enlarged heart and the most kind thing we could do for her was to release her from her suffering. Soba was a truly exceptional kitten who gave SO MUCH LOVE in her 2 months of life. Thank you to everyone who helped fund her emergency visit and x-rays, even though the results weren't what we hoped they'd be. Soba deserved every ounce of kindness, and we're so grateful that you helped give that her ❤

Sweet little Soba has been through more than any kitten ever should. 💔 First, she survived a terrifying ride trapped inside a car engine. Then, she began her ongoing battle with ringworm. And now… she’s fighting to breathe.

She was rushed to the emergency vet, and the outlook is serious. Our vet fears it could be FIP or a diaphragmatic hernia — both heartbreaking possibilities. We’re anxiously waiting on x-rays to know what comes next.

We are critically low on funds, and the cost of emergency care is mounting by the hour. We desperately need your help to keep fighting for Soba and the other fragile kittens in our care.

Humphrey was found hobbling on his twisted front legs on the side of the road. Every day since, we’ve gently splinted, massaged, and stretched his limbs — hoping they'd improve. But they haven’t. Now we’re waiting for him to grow big enough for x-rays so we can understand what kind of care he'll need next.
