Happy 4th birthday to our little orphan Amelia. It was such a terrible day losing her mom, Mabel Ann. And we had no idea if we would be able to save this teeny pup. It took round the clock care and feedings. I was able to keep her in an incubator under my desk at work so she could be fed during the day. But she grew and thrived and tuned into the princess of the house. Bossy and demanding of everyone - but we wouldn't expect anything less.

Her celebration plans include staying out of this cold weather, napping and playing ball until she's completely exhausted. She doesnt know it yet but she (and everyone else) are getting baths and blow out this weekend.
