How did you choose her?

People sometimes ask, out of all the puppies- how did you choose Charlotte?

The answer is simple... We didn't choose Charlotte- Charlotte chose Cameron.

From the time Charlotte could crawl she would follow him- as soon as she could walk (and then run) she would chase him. She would look at him longingly and wait for his cuddles instead of mine (unheard of!). She immediately loved him.

Although we wanted all of the girls in that litter: they were smart, strong, quick-witted... Charlotte was meant to stay.

As I walked in this evening to my "I didn't want a dog." husband- yet again- cuddling his dog....

After all of the health testing, X-rays, DNA screening, behavior training.....

Sometimes stubborn grit wins ❤️.

Charlotte knew her person.
