Meet Mimi, dressage prospect deluxe ! Yes— that is a Camwalker you see off to the side. I sustained a non-horse related injury over the fall months, but as soon as I was off the crutches and mostly through the pain, I was climbing on 3yos again 😂

This horse has found a new zip code with a wonderful family!

This 8yo grade paint gelding has a LOVELY disposition. A pleasure to be around, experience around quads, dogs, barn cats, handled on the ground by children-- this horse has been under saddle with me for just over sixty days. He has previous experience under saddle with someone else--but I can't speak to how long or how much.

A smooth ride at all gaits, he rides well both in and out of the arena--goes in and out of creeks, through brush, and in the surf. At sixty days he is well on his way to being trail horse deluxe! He is developping the finer nuances of advanced training and yields to your leg, is soft mouthed, and all around is just a super nice horse.

He was ponied in a local parade in June and was completely unbothered about the chaos around him. Rode him to a local brewery on band night last week and he was completely unfazed by all the people, loud music, and general activity. He has been around cattle but has not worked them.

An upcoming relocation forces me into herd reduction, and presents a unique opportunity to acquire this gorgeous gelding at a stage in training where you and/or your trainer can choose the direction to move with finishing him.

Transport within the greater Northern California region is available.

He stands at 14.3H, is up to date on shots, had his teeth floated on July 20, 2023, and is currently fed grass hay and Integrity Performance complete feed.

Also available: 9yo black APHA gelding (RB Magroos Guierre), 10 yo sorrel APHA broodmare (RB Magroos Red Delta, in foal to Katillac Jac for an April 2024 foal), and a 2021 NRHA nominated APHA filly by Katillac Jac out of RB Magroos Red Delta.

Broodmare in foal to Katillac Jac for a late March 2024 foal. Excellent broodmare, would be the best recip mare in the barn! Easy to handle her and her foals.

If you’re looking for new/old blood to add to your breeding program, consider this 2013 APHA solid bred mare by Roosters Chicaro Gold (grandsired by Rooster Cogburn) out of Magdelyn My Magic (by Obsessed to Impress). She was trained up to show in the reining, is super athletic, and managed to get an impact injury in turnout that effectively put a stop to her training and show prospects. I successfully showed her full brother in both the reining (where he earned money) and ranch versatility. Another half brother of hers earned a good bit of money in cattle sorting with only a few times out. Her first foal (by Katillac Jac, by Jumping Jack Whiz) hit the ground this spring, and she has been an amzing dam, just like her dam. I have to reduce my herd and put a hold on breeding for the next several years due to life events, otherwise she would not be available. I owned both dam and sire, am happy to answer any questions you may have. Upper four figures.

with the amazing Ringo yesterday! I’m so proud of her
for showing up every week, putting in the work, and then
showing up again to compete! Sometimes the last part is
the hardest, but it has to follow doing the work, every week, for months, as well!
