Our sweet Boy crossed the rainbow bridge last night. He came for a visit in 2020 and never left🐾. He loved to bark at all the clients and beg for snacks from all the staff. He loved when his bestie Baxter came and really loved when he got moved from the kennel to the house🥰. We will all miss you sweet Boy😭🐾

Our Story

We are a privately owned Boarding Facility whose goal is too provide the utmost level of care, love and attention to your pets while they stay with us. We have remodeled and updated most of our facility throughout 2014 and 2015. We currently offer Boarding, Daycare, Cat Boarding. Our Administrator :

Taryn Schiedeck, lives in Plumas Lake with her husband John and her 2 year old son Colton. She has a menagerie of fur babies including 2 dogs,-Dixie and R***r, One cat- Diesel , 3 horses- Teddy, Cheyenne, and Sam, and 8 chickens. She has several years experience operating large kennel facilities and has taken several courses on animal husbandry and anatomy and physiology. She is currenty pursuing her lifelong goal of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. Her lifetime love and passion for animals of all kinds has led her too constantly read and further her knowledge of the animals she takes care of. She prides herself in making your animals stay the best and closest thing to their home, away from home.

Our Manager:

Sherry Dewey. I am the manager here at Arboga Kennel since Oct 2016. I have to say this is a wonderful facility and I am honored to be a part of it. The environment here is wonderful. I have the most Awesome co-worker and working with the fur babies is a rewarding experience. I have 2 fur babies of my own, both are Mini pins, Mae-cee she is 3 yrs old, born on Christmas day, and Daisy, she is 13yrs old, I have 3 grown children, and 10 grand children.
