We have been busy on our break celebrating milestones and planning for our trainers’ wedding this Saturday. Our love of dogs is more than just helping them navigate the world in a more positive, comfortable light. We strive to embrace challenges alongside those dogs which need guidance, and long for being the ones who help give dogs the chance they deserve at a better quality of life.
For us, that began with our cane corso, Drogo. He feared part of the world when folks weren’t always kind, and initially after Greg adopted him he didn’t take too kindly to Rebecca. But with our expanded education, persistence, Drogo’s willingness to learn and months and months of hard work- he learned to love. Rebecca and Drogo became inseparable after that. He is the reason Greg and Rebecca are together, and the reason they remain dedicated to helping other rescue dogs live the best life possible.
Our wedding day will also be the second anniversary of his death, and in an effort to remember him we have asked our wedding guests to donate to the SPCA-Sandra Sue Benson Animal Adoption Center to help give other rescue dogs the chance they need at a better life. We invite everyone to be a part of this cultural change and donate to the SPCA, and all ways to do so are mentioned in the post below. Several adult dogs and many puppies are looking for their furever homes. We thank you and we look forward to picking clients back up this month, and helping more dogs love, and love life alongside us.
