The North Fork Country Kids:Rescue and Preservation Through Pedagogy We are an all volunteer, foster based rescue. We advocate for abandoned, stray and feral animals by promoting education in rescue. We are a 501c.

tropolitan area and helping to protect and preserve Long Island's North and South Fork's land and Wild life. We are a volunteer only group whose mission extends to advocacy and education from the very young to the very young at heart promoting our love of animals and our home(long Island). We assist when we can and however possible. We show compassion to all and are a cross curricular/cross generational group that fosters altruism and tenacity.

🤍 Meet Ivory & Pearl 🤍

At just 9 months old, these beautiful sisters are searching for a family to call their own.

Ivory and Pearl were rescued from a Suffolk County hoarding case a few months ago, and despite their difficult start, they have blossomed into two of the sweetest kittens you could ever meet.

Ivory is completely blind, yet you would never know it—she runs, plays, explores, cuddles, and lives life to the fullest. Pearl has limited vision in one eye and keeps right up with her sister. Together, they navigate the world with confidence, curiosity, and joy.

Their favorite activities include chirping and chatting with their people, cuddling on the bed, chasing toys, soaking up the sunshine, and showering everyone they meet with affection. They are truly the sweetest pair.

Fully vetted and overflowing with love, Ivory and Pearl are ready for a forever home filled with patience, kindness, and plenty of cozy spots to snuggle.

We are maxed out with cats and kittens and while we are trying to find their forever homes, we are caring for them and ensuring they are well fed. We rely on donations and often times our fosters are digging into their own pockets to provide the necessary supplies.
